As a comparatively inexpensive metal, aluminium is an economical alternative to a wide range of materials for the electronics industry. Our technologies – anodising, lacquering and, in particular, PVD coating – make it possible to produce a wide variety of functional thin-film surfaces on aluminium.
From optical to metallic through to insulating coatings using coil-to-coil methods, we produce strips and plates for chip-on-board, circuit board and lead-frame technology as well as copper and other metal substitutes. Our MIRO® CoM is used by all well-known manufacturers of CoB modules as a baseplate for LED light sources and offers an impressive reflection factor of up to 98%, which significantly increases the efficiency of LED components.
