1975 Alanod is incorporated
1976 - 1986 Successful expansion results in ALANOD becoming Europe’s leading manufacturer of anodised aluminium.
1981 A second anodising plant with a width of 1000 mm commences production.
1985 A 220 m long anodising line is built, capable of anodising large coils up to a width of 1250 mm.
1987 Moving to Ennepetal
1989 North American expansion starts.
1994 First MIRO® optical coating line in process.
1998 Second MIRO® line is constructed.
1999 ALANOD acquires METALLOXYD ANO-COIL in the UK.
2000 METALLOXYD ANO-COIL is renamed ALANOD Ltd.
2001 - 2002 New World Headquarters built with an additional 700 m 2 (approx. 7.500 square feet) of office space.
2003 MIRO-SILVER® with 98% total light reflection is launched on the market.
2004 Third MIRO® line is under construction.
2005 ALANOD acquires Interpane Solar. Renamed Alanod-Sunselect®. Productionstart of third MIRO® line. 30 years ALANOD.
2008 Alanod-Sunselect GmbH & Co. KG is renamed Alanod-Solar GmbH & Co. KG.
ALANOD invests in a modern coil to coil lacquering line and a further vacuum coating line.
